This is a complete professional frame-off restoration nearing completion. Every part has been beadblasted, red oxide primed and painted late war/occupation semigloss olive drab. Virtually all original with majority of correct Willys bolts. Tub is original with some replacement panels. Data plates and frame # 444300 Date of delivery 5/24/45 Front and rear ends completely professionally rebuilt. Transmission and transfer case completely professionally rebuilt. Original and correct motor in process of being rebuilt. Being returned to factory specs. Comes with all correct, original typical accessories including Blackout fender light, Tire Pump, Jack, Gas Can Holder and Gas Can, Pintle Hitch and Fire Extinguisher. Correct Military NDT Tires on Original Combat Wheels, including Spare Tire. Speedometer, Fuel and Amp Guages are original, others are correct reproductions. Original Gas Tank with new sending unit. November 1951 M38 Korean War Era Jeep also used in Vietnam Conflict. One of only 62,300 +/- built. Good immediate runner for all purpose of use : parades, re-enactments, future restoration, ranching, farming, or hunting. Body in usable condition but has dents and mild rust which is repairable. Brakes are good. Tires are used but drivable. Includes one M38 wheel and the rest are CJ. Motor is strong running with good compression. Starts, drives and stops well. 12 volt electrical conversion for easy maintenance. Fuel gauge inoperable but "wooden fuel indicator stick" included. Vehicle is mostly original. 56000 original miles.
- Original speedometer included.
- All new tires.
- Front locking hubs.
- Ring and pinions have been moved to 4.89:1 in front and rear.
- Cruises at 55MPH.
- Motor was rebuilt in the early 1980's. New water pump. Rebuilt carburetor. Recent tune-up.
- New master and wheel cylinders.
- Body is in good condition.
- Wiring is tired, and could use replacement.
- Needs TLC.

All original Sept. 1944 Willys, except for the following items:

Everything on this jeep was taken down, sandblasted, repaired or replaced as needed and put back together in original form. This jeep has new tires and new canvas.

1944 Ford GPW 231744.
- Body is in good condition
- minimal rust.
- Engine runs well, but will need new carburation and exhaust system.
- Great project for the mechanically inclined. The vehicle has fantastic potential, but will need some work to get it there.
